Don’t Let Pain
Quietly Shrink
Your World
It doesn’t happen all at once.
Moving a little differently
Thinking twice
Opting out more than you used to
Until one day,
your world feels smaller than it should.
For too long, women have been told
to accept discomfort
or simply slow down.
But your body isn’t something to work around.
It’s something to understand, support, and strengthen.
How iAM Can Help

Hip pain can develop gradually due to changes in strength, mobility, and activity demands.
Physical therapy helps improve hip strength and movement patterns to reduce stress on surrounding joints.
Common hip conditions include:
• gluteal tendinopathy

• overuse from activity or training -
Knee pain often develops when surrounding muscles are not supporting the joint effectively.

Your Questions, Answered
-
Mobile physical therapy is a private, one-on-one service delivered in your home in La Jolla or San Diego.
Your care is fully personalized, unrushed, and designed around your body, your goals, and your life—without the limitations of a traditional clinic setting.
-
This is a more thoughtful, individualized approach.
You work privately one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the full session. There are no overlapping appointments or standardized protocols.
Care is designed to understand the root cause and build long-term strength—not just provide temporary relief.
-
We provide mobile physical therapy for women experiencing:
Neck and shoulder pain
Back pain and core weakness
Hip and pelvic discomfort
Knee pain
Foot and ankle issues
Tendon and overuse injuriesAs well as broader concerns such as strength loss, movement changes, and reduced confidence in your body.
-
We begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
This gives you space to share what’s going on, ask questions, and ensure this is the right fit before moving forward.
-
iAM is an out-of-network physical therapy practice. This allows for longer, more personalized care. Superbills are available if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your insurance.
-
At this time, iAM Her + Well does not bill Medicare.
Due to current Medicare regulations, physical therapists are limited in their ability to privately contract with Medicare beneficiaries for covered services.
If you are a Medicare beneficiary, we can discuss your situation during your consultation and help guide you toward the most appropriate next step.
-
Out-of-network care allows your treatment to be guided by what you need—not by insurance restrictions.
This means more time, deeper assessment, and a plan that is tailored, progressive, and designed for lasting results.
-
This depends on your goals, your starting point, and what your body needs.
After your initial assessment, you will have a clear, personalized plan and timeline so you know exactly what to expect.
-
No. We begin with what you have available.
If equipment would be helpful, recommendations are thoughtful, minimal, and aligned with your goals.
Still have questions?
That’s completely normal.
Let’s talk through it together and see what feels right for you.
Meet Dr Jess Wiley
Doctor of Physical Therapy | Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist
For more than 18 years, I’ve worked with women recovering from injury, rebuilding strength, and returning to active lives.
I’m also a wife, a mom, and a woman navigating the physical changes that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and midlife—while balancing work, family, and the responsibilities many women carry every day.
What I’ve learned is that women don’t want to simply manage pain.
They want to understand their body, feel confident in movement, and protect their long-term health so they can stay active and independent so they can keep saying yes to the life they love.
My approach combines orthopedic physical therapy with strength training and lifestyle counseling to help women understand their bodies and move confidently.
Imagine…
Moving through your day without hesitation.
Traveling, lifting, playing, sleeping
without constantly negotiating with your body.
Feeling strong in ways that actually matter.
Strong enough for the life you’re living— the groceries, the kids, the luggage, everything you carry. Strong enough to trust your body again.
Understanding your body instead of guessing.
Knowing what’s changing and what to do about it. When to push. When to support. How to build strength without creating setbacks.
Care that feels designed for you.
Not rushed. Not generic.
Thoughtful, personalized, evidence-based care that respects your time, your energy, your life.
And most importantly—
Protecting the life you want to keep living.
Building strength, stability, and confidence so you can stay active and independent for years to come.
Build a body that lets you keep saying yes to the life you love.
